1. Who We Are
Arcade Prize World ("we", "us", "our") operates the Arcade Prize World mobile application and website at arcadeprizeworld.com. We supply prizes and loyalty technology to arcade venues across the UK.
2. What Data We Collect
We collect the following personal data when you use our app:
- Name and email address — when you enter a prize draw, free draw, or claim Post & Win bonus entries
- Town or city — optionally provided when you enter a draw, used to identify the area you are entering from
- Post & Win screenshots — when you take part in our Post & Win feature, you upload a screenshot of your social media post. This image is stored on our server (see sections 3 and 4 below)
- Visit stamps — stored locally on your device for the Tap & Collect feature
- Prize trail progress — stored locally on your device
We do not collect precise GPS location, payment information, or any special category (sensitive) personal data.
3. How We Use Your Data
Your name, email address and town/city are used solely to:
- Enter you into the monthly prize draw at your venue
- Contact you if you are selected as a winner
Post & Win screenshots are used to:
- Verify your bonus entries if you are selected as a winner (the screenshot acts as proof of your qualifying social media post)
- Where, and only where, you have given your consent by ticking the optional box at the point of upload, be re-shared on Arcade Prize World's own social media channels (such as our Facebook and Instagram pages). If you do not tick this box, your screenshot is kept private and used only for winner verification
You can withdraw your consent to re-sharing at any time by emailing us at info@arcadeprizeworld.com, and we will remove the image from our channels where reasonably possible.
We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Data Storage
Prize draw entries and Post & Win screenshots are stored securely on our server. Tap & Collect stamps and prize trail progress are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
5. Data Retention
Prize draw entries are retained for 3 months after the draw date, then permanently deleted. Post & Win screenshots are retained for up to 3 months after the relevant draw for verification purposes. Screenshots you have consented to us re-sharing may be retained for longer for use on our own channels; you may ask us to delete these at any time.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To make a request, please visit our data deletion page or email us at info@arcadeprizeworld.com.
7. Cookies
The Arcade Prize World app does not use cookies. Our website may use basic analytics cookies to understand visitor numbers.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
